Report Text ( ninth grade level)

Finished my class today. Let's me share to you..

I taught my students bout Report Text. Its not hard to understand actually , coz Report text is almost the same with Descriptive Text.

So,what makes them differ?

If in descriptive text u describe something specificly,in report text u describe it generally.
Let I give u the examples. 
For descriptive u will find the text such as Lion, Tiger, Rose, Motorcycle etc. But in Report,u gonna find Animal, Fruit, Library, Transportation etc.

The generic structure of these two texts also different. In descriptive we find Identification and Description. In Report text, it consists of General Statements and Description.

So, how about the tenses?
Yup, both of these texts use Simple Present Tense.
