Recount Text

Recount text is a kind of text that tell us about someone's experience or the writer's experience.

Talking about generic structure of this text,are divided into:
▶orientation
▶events

The tenses use in the text is Simple Past Tense.

Let me give u some short examples of it.

Jane went to the amusement park last week. Her parents brought her there. Jane played on the ground. After that, her mother felt tired and they went home. At the end of the day, Jane felt very happy.

It was night. Mary was alone at home. Her parents had gone to attend a party. Suddenly, the door bell rang.
Mary went to open the door. She was shocked. An ugly face was staring at her. She screamed.
Please don't scream, it is me,"said the face.
It was her neighbour playing a trick for her. The ugly face was just a mask.
