Descriptive text is a kind of text that describe something for example people,place and thing.

The generic structure are divided into:
⚫identification▶discuss thing that you are going to describe.
⚫description▶give the characteristic of the thing that you describe.

The tenses use is Simple Present.

Let me give you the example🙌

BatuSangkar
My hometown is Batusangkar. It' s very 'cool' place to visit. Most people come here because of the tourism object that BatuSangkar have.
In BatuSangkar, u can find so many ricefields,thing that we seldom find in the big city,u can also enjoy urself there. Some visitors,usually stop their way  and take pictures. After spending time by taking photo, u can visit the tradisional house in Batusangkar, we called Istano Basa Pagaruyuang, this is historical place and of course there are so many tourists come here. And many others tourism objects that u can also visit such Batu Batikam, Batu Basurek, Batu Angkek-Angkek etc.
