Activity in 8.2 and 8.1

Well, today I ask my students to do a kind of translation exercise. They did that by posting it in their's blog. That's all because they bring their's smartphone,. That's so interesting actually...
I ask them to copy a text from their's textbook and translate it into Bahasa. Let me do the same,hehe

The Midnight Monster

The night was dark. The sky was full of stars. Ferdie Fox and little Byron Badger walked in Trudy's Garden. They wanted to play in the sand box. Suddenly, the moon came from behind a cloud.

Look! yelled Byron.
There's a monster on the lawn.
It wasn't there last night, said Ferdie, his voice trembling as he grabbed little Badger's hand and they ran into the nearest bush.
Come back in the morning, you silly pair, said Ossie Owl and he flew to thr tress.
I believe Ossie was laughing, said Byron Badger, and two frightened friends ran home as fast as they could.

Next morning the sun was shining brightly and Trudy was playing on the lawn.

I can't believe we could be so silly, whispered Ferdie, as he and little Badger walked through the bushes.

How about coming back tonigt to play?, said Byron with a smile on his face. He gave Ferdie a nudge. We'll bring our own buckets and spades.

MonsterTengah Malam

Malam itu sungguh gelap. Langit dipenuhi oleh bintang-bintang. Ferdie Fox dan Byron Junior berjalan di kebun Trudy. Mereka akan bermain di kotak pasir. Tiba-tiba, muncullah bulan dari balik awan.

Lihat, teriak Byron.
Ada monster di semak-semak.
Tadi malam tidak ada monsternya disana, Ferdie berkata. Suaranya bergetar ketakutan sehingga tangannya pun lansung menggengam tangan Badger dan mereka lansung berlari ke semak-semak.

Datanglah lagi besok pagi, wahai pasangan bodoh, Ossie Owl berkata dan dia terbang ke pepohonan.

Saya yakin bahwa Ossie sekarang sedang tertawa, kata Byron Badger, dan dua orang yang ketakutan ini berlari secepat yang mereka bisa.

Keesokan paginya, matahari bersinar sangat cerah, dan Trudy sedang bermain di semak-semak.

Aku tidak bisa percaya kalau kita bisa sebodoh itu, bisik Ferdie. Dia menyampaikan itu sambil berjalan ke rerumputan.

Bagaimana kalau kita kesini lagi nanti malam u/ bermain? Kata Byron dengan senyum di wajahnya. Dia merangkul Ferdie. Kita akan membawa keranjang dan juga sekop untuk bermain.
