Question Words

These are question words. Question words are used to ask questions.

Who, whose, whom are used questions when the answers are people.
Example:  Who is she?
                   Whose book is this?

What are used in questions when the answers are actions or things.
Example: What is that doing?
                  What are u doing?

When is used for place.
Example: When is the show starting?
                 When are u going to Malaysia?

Which can be used for things and also people.
Example: Which pen is yours?
                 Which actor do u like?

Where is used for place.
Example: Where are u studying?
                  Where did she put her bag?

How is used to ask 'in what way'.
Example: How do u come to school?
                  How are u?

Why is used to ask for reasons.
Example: Why are u laughing?
                  Why you come late?
