Past Continuous Tense

Finally, I Can't stop these fingers to type, hahahah
Well, want to share bout Past Continuous Tense. Make it simple guys..

If in past tense, we use S+V2+Obj as the rule,. In continuous, we use S+to be(was/were)+Ving+Obj.

The example:

I was knocking the door
I was not knocking the door
Was I knocking the door?

They were ironing the clothes
They were not ironing the clothes
Were they ironing the clothes?

Sometimes we combine this tenses with simple past but we have to use when as the conjunction.
Example:

I was reading a book when you came to my house.
She was taking a bath when her mom prepared the breakfast.
Etc.

That's simple, right?

Regards😁
